LifeOps: Travel Buddy Conversation Starters
I love travel and I really treasure sharing the experiences with friends. But travel is unpredictable, and group travel is even trickier because of differing expectations that can create friction.
To counter that, about 15 years ago, when I was traveling a lot, I began developing a personal framework to align with my travel buddies about what is most important for a great trip together. This list is not a rigid checklist but a series of conversation starters with the underlying idea of defining and aligning on what “positive” means to us all.
I’ve also realized that these conversation starters are a great example of optimizing life activities and operations, what I call LifeOps, to define what is important, remove friction, align with other humans or agents on positive outcomes and make a good thing better.
Before I ever used any form of AI - and my assistants were actual humans - this approach has helped me optimize life every day, and I’d like to share this mindset of LifeOps, starting with Travel Buddy Conversation Starters.
